Statement From Paige Parnell Regarding Tuesday Election. I want to thank all of my supporters who did so much for me. They put in an immense amount of work over these past months and I couldn’t have run the campaign without all of these great people. We ran a clean, honest campaign that focused on the issues important to District 45. We received roughly 45 percent of the vote and that means almost half of the people in the district want to see people before party. But, I humbly accept the voters’ choice and I wish Dickie Drake the best as he serves in Montgomery for the next three years. I will continue to stay positive and look forward to seeing all of the wonderful people I’ve been able to meet throughout the campaign. – Paige Parnell
